Jurassic Park Word Search

Welcome... to Jurassic Park. Our Jurassic Park word search hides the dinosaurs and the scientists who brought them back, from the towering T-REX to the clever RAPTOR, in a grid of letters. Pick a difficulty and hold on tight.

Dinosaurs walk again

Jurassic Park made dinosaurs roar back onto the big screen, and this word search gathers its world. You'll start with the fearsome T-REX, the clever RAPTOR, the DINOSAUR park itself on its remote ISLAND, and the wealthy dreamer behind it all, HAMMOND.

Each puzzle pulls a fresh selection from the list, so the park is rearranged every time you play β€” gentle on Easy for young dino fans, and a Hard-mode adventure once the diagonals and backwards words appear.

Science gone wild

The story is as much about the people as the predators, and they're here. Track down Dr GRANT, Dr SATTLER (ELLIE), chaos theorist MALCOLM, and the sneaky NEDRY. The science is hidden too β€” the AMBER, the MOSQUITO, the FOSSIL, the EMBRYO and the CLONING that started it all, right down to the DNA β€” plus the electric FENCE, the dinosaur PADDOCK, the TRACKER and a desperate JEEP escape through the GATE.

A blockbuster that changed effects forever

Jurassic Park was released in 1993, directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the 1990 novel by Michael Crichton. Its great trick is a fun bit of pretend science: cloning dinosaurs from ancient DNA found inside mosquitoes trapped in fossilised amber β€” then putting them in a theme park that, inevitably, goes very wrong.

The film was a landmark moment for visual effects, blending lifelike computer-generated dinosaurs with full-size animatronic models so convincingly that audiences truly believed they were watching living creatures. It became one of the biggest hits of all time and launched a series that continues today as the Jurassic World films.
