Africa is the world's second-largest continent, packed with countries, and this word search gathers many of them. You'll track down the well-known names — EGYPT, KENYA, NIGERIA, GHANA and MOROCCO — alongside the East African giants ETHIOPIA, TANZANIA and UGANDA.

From the Sahara to the Cape
Africa stretches from desert north to green south. Travel the north through ALGERIA, TUNISIA, LIBYA and SUDAN, cross West Africa via SENEGAL, MALI and CHAD, and head south to ANGOLA, NAMIBIA, ZAMBIA and BOTSWANA. We've tucked in SOMALIA and RWANDA too.
A continent of 54 countries
Africa has more countries than any other continent — 54 in all — and an astonishing variety of people, with well over a thousand different languages spoken across it. The equator runs right through the middle, so the climate ranges from the scorching SAHARA desert in the north to steamy rainforest near the centre and cooler lands at the southern tip.
It's also where humans first appeared, and home to some of the oldest civilisations on Earth, like ancient EGYPT on the River Nile. From the wildlife-rich savannas of KENYA and TANZANIA to the bustling cities of NIGERIA, the continent is far too diverse to sum up in a single picture.
