Seeing the light
Light is a wave we can see, and this puzzle gathers how it behaves. You'll be finding the words of optics — the RAY and BEAM of LIGHT, the way it bounces in REFLECTION off a MIRROR and bends in REFRACTION through a LENS or PRISM — splitting into the SPECTRUM of a RAINBOW.
Because every new puzzle reshuffles the lab, no two light and sound word searches are the same. One round a backwards REFRACTION hides in a corner; the next a diagonal AMPLITUDE appears across the middle.
Hearing the sound
Sound is a wave too, and the words are here. It starts with a VIBRATION that travels as a WAVE, with a FREQUENCY we hear as PITCH and an AMPLITUDE we hear as VOLUME, measured in DECIBELs. There's the ECHO that bounces back, the SHADOW where light can't reach, and the BRIGHT COLOUR that light creates.
