A fantasy epic that conquered TV

It followed noble families battling for control of the Iron Throne across the continent of WESTEROS, and became a global phenomenon famous for its huge cast, shocking twists and ever-growing dragons.
House Stark's motto, 'Winter is coming', became one of TV's most recognisable catchphrases, and the show won a record haul of Emmy Awards. Its world proved so popular that a prequel series, House of the Dragon — about the TARGARYEN dynasty — followed years later.
