A JIGSAW is a quiet, satisfying PUZZLE that grown-ups and children both love, and this one is all about them. You'll be finding the cardboard PIECES, the straight EDGES and four CORNER-s, the BORDER you build first, and the PICTURE that slowly appears.

Sort, fit and solve
Doing a jigsaw is its own little adventure, and the words are here. First you SORT the PIECES by SHAPES and colour — all the SKY pieces in one pile — then build the FRAME and try to FIT each one so it will INTERLOCK with the next. You spread them out on the TABLE, work out the PATTERN, hunt for the one MISSING piece, and finally SOLVE and COMPLETE the picture. Some are easy and some are very TRICKY — but it's a lovely HOBBY for a rainy day.
