An epic adventure in Hyrule
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA sends a brave HERO on a QUEST across a magical land, and this word search gathers it. You'll be finding the green-clad LINK, PRINCESS ZELDA herself, the kingdom of HYRULE they protect, the wicked GANON who threatens it, and the golden TRIFORCE that holds the land's greatest power.
Each puzzle pulls a fresh selection from the list, so the quest changes every time you play — gentle on Easy, and a Hard-mode dungeon once the diagonals and backwards words appear.

Every Zelda adventure is full of treasures and trials, and the words are here. Link wears a green TUNIC, carries the legendary MASTER SWORD and a sturdy SHIELD, and fires a trusty BOW. He explores a dark DUNGEON and an ancient TEMPLE, collects shiny RUPEE gems, and meets a helpful FAIRY along the way. The TRIFORCE is split into three parts — COURAGE, WISDOM and POWER — and the whole LEGEND turns on keeping them safe.
The hero isn't who you'd think
Here's the question that trips everyone up: who is Zelda? The green-clad HERO you actually control is LINK — ZELDA is the PRINCESS he's usually trying to save, and the series is named after her. The games were dreamed up in the 1980s by Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, inspired by his boyhood adventures exploring the woods, caves and lakes near his home, which is why every Zelda game is really about the joy of exploring an unknown world.
That spirit of discovery made Zelda hugely important to gaming. Where many early games just scrolled in one direction, Zelda gave players a whole HYRULE to wander, secrets to uncover and clever DUNGEON puzzles to solve at their own pace — and its 2017 game 'Breath of the Wild' is often called one of the greatest ever made for letting you go almost anywhere you can see. The TRIFORCE neatly sums up the series' values: COURAGE, WISDOM and POWER. Appealing to young adventurers and lifelong fans alike, it makes a rich fantasy puzzle theme.
