Riding the bus
The BUS is one of the most useful vehicles around, and this puzzle gathers it. You'll be finding the DRIVER up front, the PASSENGER hopping aboard, the SCHOOL bus on its morning ROUTE, and types from the long-distance COACH to the little MINIBUS and the famous DOUBLE DECKER.
Because every new puzzle reshuffles the grid, no two Buses word searches are the same. One round a backwards CONDUCTOR hides in a corner; the next a diagonal TIMETABLE appears across the middle.
From the stop to the depot
A bus journey is full of words to spot, and they're here. You wait at the SHELTER for your bus, climb the steps and pay or tap your TICKET, then grab one of the SEATS by the WINDOW or hold the HANDRAIL down the AISLE. The DRIVER follows the ROUTE on the TIMETABLE, opens the DOORS at every STOP, and a CONDUCTOR may check fares. At the end of the day the bus rolls back to the DEPOT β big WHEELS, ENGINE and all β ready for tomorrow's SCHEDULE.
It's a great fit for a transport topic. Tracking down P-A-S-S-E-N-G-E-R turns spelling practice into a bus ride.
How to play
Drag across a word, or click its first and last letter β both work. Each word you spot locks in with its own colour and ticks off the list, so you always know what's left to find.
