Beneath the trees
A FOREST is a whole world of its own, and this puzzle gathers it. You'll be finding the tall TREES with their rough BARK and sturdy TRUNK, the leafy CANOPY high above, the dappled SHADE below, and the winding PATH and TRAIL that lead you through the WOODLAND.
Because every new puzzle reshuffles the grid, no two Forest word searches are the same. One round a backwards CLEARING hides in a corner; the next a diagonal PINECONE appears across the middle.
On the forest floor
Look down and the forest floor is full of life, and the words are here. There's the green FERN and the springy MOSS, the climbing IVY and the tangled BRACKEN, a fallen LOG and a tree HOLLOW where animals shelter. You'll spot a scattered ACORN and PINECONE, a snapped TWIG, drifts of fallen LEAVES, and the deep ROOTS and spreading BRANCH that hold each tree up — with a sunny CLEARING here and there to let the light in.
